June 2023 calendar of events
Friday June 2, our first Friday of the month, from 6pm onwards for Winter Cup Doubles. $10 for cheeses, soup, and bread. We have vegan and vegetarian options available. All equipment supplied, so come and enjoy the fabulous Adelaide Parklands and some hot Pétanque in a casual and fun environment.
Saturday June 3,17 and 24. Join us for some easy French conversation and casual Pétanque. Doors open at 10 until 12. Cost is $2.
Training and coaching each Wednesday in June, 10am-12noon, $2 for members, $3 for non-members, all equipment and prizes provided.
Sunday June 4 is our Annual 2+1 Triples Competition. These are a lot of fun and all are welcome. $15 for lunch of Potato and Leek Soup, Cottage Pie and salad, followed by Sticky Date Pudding for dessert (vegan and vegetarian options available on request when you RSVP). Game day fees are $7 for non-members and $5 for members. Get a team of friends and laugh pals together for this terrific event. RSVP to adelaidepetanque@gmail.com
Sunday June 11 is our Winter afternoon competition from 2pm. $5 for light nibbles and a few casual and fun games of Pétanque. These days are great for beginners who want to ‘Come and Try’. All equipment, coaching, tips and giggles provided.
